The Bible said, through St. Paul:
“Now I rejoice in what I am suffering for you, and I fill up in my flesh what is still lacking in regard to Christ's afflictions, for the sake of his body, which is the CHURCH” (Colossians 1:24). Christ is “the head of the body, the CHURCH” (Colossians 1:18). This CHURCH, which is “His body, the fullness of Him who fills everything in every way” (Ephesians 1:22-23) is “the pillar and the foundation of TRUTH” (1 Timothy 3:15), as Jesus Himself declared, “I am the way and the TRUTH and the life” (John 14:6).
POINT: You cannot be Pro-Christ, and yet Anti-Church, for the Church is Christ Himself. You cannot say, "I love Jesus, but I hate religion", because for you to love Jesus, you must be part of His Church, His Body; and to be part of the Church, means having a religion. The two will either stand or fall together. It's one or nothing.
