TradCatKnight: ST. ALPHONSUS DE LIGOURI: ON THE NUMBER OF SINS BE...: ON THE NUMBER OF SINS BEYOND WHICH GOD PARDONS NO MORE "Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God" – Matt., 4:7 A sermon by...Spiritual fatigue

When the called out one passes through a phase of being away from the physical presence of God, he may begin to feel drained and exhausted. And rightly so. In these times, he must not give in to feelings, but be renewed and transformed by the nourishing power of confession and the Eucharist. Instead, if he gives in to fatigue, he will eventually settle down for convenience, a spiritual life built around him, not around the Eucharist, the physical presence of God here and now.

1 Kings 17:16
“Jar of meal shall not be spent, jug of oil shall not be emptied, before the day when the Lord sends rain on the face of the earth.”
Lord give strength, through the power of Eucharist in our life journey, until we meet him eternity, home at last.
