Ideš van večeras? Sve je spremno. Novac za cugu i drugo je tu. Bit će luda noć. Idete ti, ona, njezina prijateljica, onaj i On. Da, ide i On. On ne ostavlja onih koje voli pa ni tebe među njima. Ide s tobom svjestan što ga čeka: bit će popljuvan, izrugan, ostavljen, usamljen... Ne znam, vjerovatno se osjeća kao Getsemanskom vrtu gdje ga je gušila tjeskoba ostavljenosti i izdajstva ljudi od Eve do mene i tebe danas. I jedina radost koju priuštiš Isusu u toj noći jest ona kad se odlučiš da je vrijeme kući. Sjest će s tobom u auto, ako bude mjesta za Njega. Često ga tu dočeka još muka. Tu bude, kao onda, svezan i okrunjen trnjem. Da, baš to - dobije trnje kao krunu na kraju svega. Tu je krunica a tko zna što se radi!? Gleda to i trpi jer te ljubi i jer zna da se ne bi dobro proveo kad bi te ostavio. I kad napokon krenete kući, pokušava ti štogod reći ali ne uspijeva od trešteće glazbe ili pak zato što nisi sposoban ni slušati. Ulazi s tobom u sobu. Sjeda na krevet. Čeka te da mu kažeš nešto. Barem: 'Hvala!' ili 'Oprosti!' Ali ti gasiš svjetlo, i odlaziš u krevet. On se ne miče. Tu je, žalostan i iscrpljen, popljuvan i izvrijeđan. Tebi će ovo možda biti samo još jedna luda noć ali vjeruj mi Gospodinu to nije 'samo još jedna luda noć', Gospodinu je to vjerovatno još jedna duga i bolna noć nalik onoj tamnoj noći od prije dvije tisuće godina kad te pošao spasiti na drvu križa. Znaš: boli ga to što misliš da je dosadan. Boli ga to što vidi da si radiš. Boli ga to što izlaskom često ulaziš u ropstvo. Svaka sloboda bez Boga je ropstvo. Boli ga to jer zna koliko ga je skupo koštala tvoja sloboda kad te išao osloboditi ropstva na drvu križa. Boli ga brate to što si činiš. I ne želim ti ovim tekstom reći da je zlo družiti se i zabavljati pa i u izlasku. Ali zapitaj se: Tko si kad izlaziš? S kim izlaziš? Što radiš u izlasku? Zašto da ti izlazak bude nešto kratko? Život s Gospodinom je jedan dobar izlazak. I zadovoljstvo koje On nudi nije od par sati, traje puno duže - cijelu vječnost. Nešto u krvi ne može te učiniti sretnim i ispunjenim. Sretnim i ispunjenim može te učiniti samo ono što se nalazi u srcu. Da li to znači da je nekad i nekomu i nečemu potrebno reći ne? Da, mislim da je. Mislim da i sam znaš kada i kome i čemu. Ako si uistinu ono što kažeš da jesi onda nemaš frke. Samo hrabro! Ne biraš između dva jednaka dobra, nego biraš između dobra i zla. Razumno biraj.

Letter to the Ephesians 3,14-21.

and that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, rooted and grounded in love,

and to know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge, so that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.
