Petar Vlašić – Mali Oficij Blažene Djevice Marije
Da se proširi pobožnost prama Blaženoj Djevici Mariji, koja je pobožnost najuže spojena s pobožnošću prama Euharistiji, pater Petar Vlašić je 1929. godine objavio uz pomoć Božju ovo drugo izdanje Malog Oficija Blažene Djevice Marije. U drugom se povećanom izdanju unijelo sve ono što su pismeno zaželile Matice ČČ. Sestara u Đakovu, Sarajevu, Splitu i t. d.
Upoznajmo se sada s oprostima osobama koje mole Mali Oficij Blažene Djevice Marije. Svojim rješenjem od 7. ožujka 1888. sveta Kongregacija za oproste izjavila je, da sve redovničke osobe, čije Pravilo ne obvezuje pod grijeh, mogu dobiti sve oproste, koji su spojeni s molitvama i dobrim djelima, pa i u slučaju da im njihovo Pravilo naređuje te iste molitve ili dobra djela. Traži se samo, da imaju nakanu dobiti oprost. Ista Kongregacija svojim otpisima od 6. svibnja 1887. i od 13. rujna 1888. objavila je, da se oprosti, koji su podijeljeni molenju Maloga Oficija Blažene Djevice Marije dobivaju jedino, ako se isti Oficij moli na latinskom jeziku. S novom izjavom od 28. kolovoza 1903. spomenuta Kongregacija razjasnila je, da se svi oprosti, podijeljeni molenju Malog Oficija Blažene Djevice Marije dobivaju i onda, ako ga se moli u narodnom (hrvatskom) jeziku. Ovo pak vrijedi samo za slučaj, da se Mali Oficij moli privatno, a ne u koru. Privatno molenje smatra se i ono, što ga obavljaju redovničke osobe prostih zavjeta kada mole zajednički, pa i na posvećenom mjestu, kamo nema pristupa javni svijet. Oprosti za molenje Malog Oficija Blažene Djevice Marije su slijedeći:
I. Papa Pijo VI. podijelio je: 100 dana oprosta svim vjernicima, koji su obvezani, da mole Mali Oficij i uistinu ga mole prema rasporedu Rimskog Časoslova; 50 dana oprosta svim vjernicima, koji ga mole iz same pobožnosti; 15 dana oprosta svim vjernicima, koji izmole bilo koji dio Malog Oficija.
II. Papa Lav XIII. gore naznačenim oprostima podijelio je još i slijedeće: Prvo, potpuni oprost svim vjernicima, koji kroz čitav jedan mjesec mole cijeli Mali Oficij Blažene Djevice Marije (t. j. Jutarnju, koja se sastoji od jednog Nokturna, i sve druge dijelove Malog Oficija). Ovaj oprost može se dobiti u koji se hoće dan preko mjeseca, samo se još k tome zahtijeva ispovijed i pričest uz molitvu (nekoliko Očenaša) na odluku svetog Oca Pape. Drugo, oprost od 7 godina i 7 četrdesetica svim vjernicima svakog dana, kad izmole pobožno i skrušena srca Mali Oficij. Treće, 300 dana oprosta onima, koji izmole Jutarnju i Pohvale (otpis svete Kongregacije za oproste od 17. studenoga 1887.). Sve se ove oproste može namjeniti i za duše od Čistilišta.
III. Subotnja povlastica. Milost subotnje povlastice sastoji se u tome, da će one duše, koje pripadaju Bratovštini Gospe od Karmena i koje nose škapular ili medalju Bratovštine uvijek na sebi i koje obdržavaju svetu čistoću prema svome staležu i koje ako znadu čitati, mole svakog dana Mali Oficij Blažene Djevice Marije prema rasporedu Rimskog časoslova, biti oslobođene od muka Čistilišta, već prve subote iza svoje smrti.
Dao euharistijski Isus, da Mali Oficij mole sve osobe pobožne Blaženoj Djevici Mariji, a stalni smo da će te iste osobe uvelike biti pobožne prama euharistijskom Utamničeniku Ljubavi naših oltara.
