/.../ Mary claims that God has thrown the mighty from thrones and promoted the low (LK 1,52). Jesus is saying that they will be arrogant humiliated and humble elevated.
From these and other parallels that we find in the gospel, we could assume that Mary had an unusually large and decisive impact on Jesus's life and on his spirituality; we owe a lot of Gospels to Maria as her shared origin. /.../
