Ibrahim Ujulu Medugu writes:
They do blindly criticize the One, Apostolic, Holy and Catholic Church; but here are they coping us. They say Catholics don’t read the Holy Bible, when in fact the whole part of the Liturgy (the Holy Mass, the Divine Office, etc) is made out of the Holy Bible.
How can their above claims be true when history has it that: Pope St Damasus I chose the Holy Scripture which he considers genuine and ordered; St Jerome translated the Holy Scripture for 30years in a cave in Jerusalem (397-467 AD) and called it “Latin Vulgate”; Pope St Siricius himself was the one who first termed the Holy Scriptures as “Holy Bible”; Tertullian a great Catholic scholar gave the term “Old and the New Testament”, he himself was the first to use the term “Trinitas” or has it is also known has Trinity; and Cardinal Hugide Caro credited for creating chapters and verses in the Holy Bible?
The above great Catholic Saints, Popes and Scholars were the ones responsible behind the making of the Holy Bible to what it is today. And still they blindly accuse Catholics of not reading the Holy Bible. Yes!!! They are not wrong from saying that Catholics don’t read the Holy Bible, Catholics don’t read the Holy Bible; rather Catholics meditatively and contemplatively pray the Holy Bible. No wonder, Catholics don’t misinterpret the Holy Bible out of its true content.
More so, they say the Holy Rosary is not in the Holy Bible. How can this be true when it has been graphically stated in the Holy Bible? Yes!!! The Holy Rosary may not be in the Holy Bible but surely with certitude the Holy Bible is in the Holy Rosary:

Yet, even when Catholics prove to them that the Holy Rosary may not be in the Holy Bible, but surely with certitude the Holy Bible is in the Holy Rosary; still they blindly say: Catholics worship the mother of Jesus, Mary. But still Catholics replies them saying: If the bare land which our Lord Jesus Christ walked upon is call “Holy Land”, how much more shall we call the woman whom Jesus stayed in her womb for over 8 months?
We Catholics don’t worship the mother of Jesus our Blessed Lord, rather we honor her. If God can honor her through the mouth of angel Gabriel in the Gospel of Luke 1:26-38. How much more of us Catholics who are just mortal fragile men and women?
There is even in Quran a book made specially for the Blessed Virgin Mary, which is particularly call the book of "Mariam"; that is the book of the "Blessed Virgin Mary". The name of the Blessed Virgin Mary is in fact mentioned in the Quran more than the name of prophet Mo-hammed. The Muslim faithful so cheers the Blessed Virgin Mary, that their women do dress like the way the Blessed Virgin Mary do dress while on earth. Ask your Muslim friends. For even the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary is written in the Quran. If Muslim so respect and cheers the Blessed Virgin Mary; I wonder and cannot understand why and how some Christian denominations out of clear ignorance will not!!! Is this not obviously, ignorance of the highest order?
Yet, despite the fact that the use of incense in worship in Catholic Liturgies is clearly depicted in the Holy Scripture, they will still blindly often jettison it as being archaic or an Old Testament stuff which has been abolished by the New law, or even to the extent of rendering it diabolic, associating it with occultism; thus, condemning the Catholic Church for using it in her liturgical worship. Please journey with me as to the use of incense for worship biblically:
1) The use of incense is being associated with divinity, prayer, and reverence to God: Exodus 30: 1, Exodus 30: 34-38, Matthew 2:11.
2) Burning of incense is itself a prayer in action: Psalm 141.
3) Burning of incense creates the AMBIANCE of HEAVEN: Rev. 8:3-4.

3) Burning of incense creates the AMBIANCE of HEAVEN: Rev. 8:3-4.
More so, they ask: How can we confess our sins to a priest who is a “mortal man like us"? For them the Sacrament of Confession is a waste of time. As such it is better to confess directly to God. Yet, the Holy Bible says in Leviticus 19: 20-22: “A man who committed evil had to bring a guilt offering for himself to the door of the Tent of Meeting” (this Tent of Meeting is the present day confessional). But then it adds; “And the priest shall make atonement for him …before the Lord for his sin…and the sin which he has committed shall be forgiven.” See also Leviticus 5: 5-6. John's Gospel (20: 21-23) makes it very clear.
And yet, they will tell us that the sacrament of Anointing of the Sick is not biblically. As such for them it’s nonsense. This too I can say it’s a pure ignorance when James 5: 14-17 explains it beautifully: “Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord; and the prayer of faith will save the sick man”.
Upon all the historical and biblical facts with certitude that we Catholics responses to them above, they still blindly accuse and criticize us: It is unbiblical to prayer for intercession through Saints and Angels. Thus, Catholics are committing idolatry and it is sinful. Oh, anyone who says that praying to Saints and Angels as a mean of intercession is not found in the Holy Bible. As such it is idolatry and sinful, such individual or the groups of persons are obviously speaking out of ignorance.
Please journey with me through the Holy Bible has regards to the matter of praying through the intercession of God’s Angels and Saints:
A) Old Testament:
1) Job 33:23-25: The power of a guardian angel’s intercession for a suffering soul is alluded to by God.

5) Tobit 12:12: The Archangel Raphael explains that he received Tobit’s prayer and brought it before God.

They say that immersion is the only proper baptism while infusion (that is, by pouring water on the head) is nonsense. The fundamentalists among them can go as far as arguing that since Christ was baptized in a river (Jordan); therefore, baptism must be done only in a river. Should this be the case? In fact, from the early Church age we see traces of baptism by infusion. There were instances where people were baptized in the book of “Acts of the Apostles” without going to the river for immersion; for instance Acts 16:33. There we were told that the Philippian jailer whom Paul and Silas got him converted into Christianity was baptized that night along with his household. At the same hour of the night, his entire family and the Philippian jailer were baptized. Obviously, the jailer had no river or a pool inside or around his house. Paul and Silas never told him they cannot baptize him and his household, because there was no river around. The Holy Book says that at that hour of the night, the household of the jailer was baptized, after which they ate in the house and celebrated their conversion. We see also evidence of baptism by infusion in Acts of the Apostles 10:34-48. Furthermore, St. Luke records the baptism of the first Gentiles (at the house of Cornelius), it is also clear that a river or a pool was not involved. In his greetings to the Corinthians, Paul recalled that "I did baptize also the household of Stephanas" (1 Cor. 1:16). In all these cases, whole households or families were baptized, and it is very clear from the circumstances and situations that the Apostles did not take them to the river for immersion. It is significant to understand the context at which Christ was baptized and his later teaching on baptism with the subsequent baptismal practices of the early Church. The biblical fact remains therefore: Baptism is baptism, be it by infusion or by immersion. Provided baptism involves WATER, THE HOLY SPIRIT" (Jn 3:5) and the TRINITARIAN FORMULA (in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit).
We can go on and on to show them about how we originated our Catholic Treasurers from the Holy Bible. But they will still blindly say: “The issue is about one’s relationship with God. Jesus did not come for any denominational Church”. But the question is: How can a blind man try to lead persons who are not blind across an ocean? Yes, the ultimate is one’s relationship with God and I add with humanity (love, compassion, forgiveness, mercy, charity, prayer etc) and also with true worship in truth and in spirit. So I ask you: If you knew that the ultimate is the love of God and humanity. Why then do you often blindly accuse the One, Holy, Apostolic and Catholic Church?
Thus, from their blindly criticism and false accusation, I can say that: There are not over fifty persons in the whole universe who hate the Catholic Church and its wonderful doctrines which are biblically and objective. Rather there are over million persons who hate what they wrongly believe to be the Catholic Church. Thus, it follows that there are only persons whose hatred is directed towards error and lack of true knowledge against the Catholic Church. If then the hatred for the Catholic Church is only founded on erroneous conceptions, it follow that you who is reading this ought to share and forward this write-up to them.
