Blessed Laura Vicuna, along with St. John the Baptist, and Ss. John Fisher and Thomas Moore…all saintly witnesses who died on account of their defense of marriage…are called upon to intercede that marriage and its indissolubility be protected from the errors and confusion caused by that infamous papal document known as Amoris Laetitia, as well as the various immoral pastoral practices being instituted officially in various dioceses regarding the Sacraments of Confession and Holy Communion being made available to those in objectively illicit unions. Once again we are hearing from a few faithful bishops the words of St. John the Baptist and other saintly witnesses saying Non Licet…It is not lawful…that thou shalt commit adultery. There are a number of non-negotiable…including…that relations between persons not bound by a valid marriage — which is the case of "divorced-remarried" — is always contrary to the will of God and is a grave offense to God. I know Laura Vicuñas Life since my years of Catholic school, with the Salesians congregation of nuns , we even had a play based on her life, it was beautiful, and I will never forget how she sacrifice for her mother.

My question...what were the MEN in this town doing as this kid was being stomped to death? Why didn't they intervene? Why didn't they kick the ** out of Laura's attacker? I thought guys down there were macho and defended their women. If the senor would have did that mess up here (Chicago) the whole neighborhood would nave whupped his ***!
The fact that poverty awaited the mother she undoubtedly had no other option.Mother Mary technically conceived Jesus. "out of wedlock". The issue is more about patriarchal males abuse of power. WWJD? Judge not.Forgive.Find the truth as to the real reason the mother was forced into being a "jezebel"., for the health and welfare of her children.This is definitely a social justice issue and not about "the sins of the mother".
