“We have heard him speaking blasphemous words

against Moses and God.”27

They stirred up the people, the elders, and the scribes,

accosted him, seized him,

and brought him before the Sanhedrin.

They presented false witnesses who testified,

“This man never stops saying things against this holy place and the law.

For we have heard him claim

that this Jesus the Nazorean will destroy this place

and change the customs that Moses handed down to us.”

All those who sat in the Sanhedrin looked intently at him

and saw that his face was like the face of an angel.

Dear Infant Jesus in the Manger, by virtue of Your Holy Name, I beg of you to grant my petition.

Hail and blessed be the hour and moment in which the Son of God was born of the most pure Virgin Mary ,at midnight in Bethlehem, in piercing cold. For the merits of that hour, vouchsafe, O my God, to hear my prayer and grant my desires,through the merits of our Saviour, Jesus Christ, and of His Blessed Mother. Amen.

Infant Jesus, I trust in Thee!

Let us pray: Give us O Lord, a perpetual fear and love of Your Holy Name; for You never fail to govern those whom You have solidly established in Your love. Through Jesus Christ, Your Son, Our Lord. Amen.

Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy Name, Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth, as it is heaven.

Give us this day, our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those, who trespass against us, and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.

Hail Mary full of grace, the Lord is with you, blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb, Jesus.
